We had a party of 7 and had to sit in the bar as the restaurant was closed for a function. So it was crowded and noisy. They have seats at the bar which make it almost impossible to get to it to place orders and obtain drinks. But once we overcame that obstacle the food was very good. We had leek and chicken pies, steak and fish and children's jacket potatoes. All very good. No wine list so they offered wine by types - and Sauvignon turned out to be a fantastic Oyster Bay so why not list the wines or put them on a board by name? Would definitely recommend - we were staying at Holiday Inn and it was short drive/taxi away but worth it.
